Kendra Wells is a retired 4-H youth development specialist with 40 years of experience working with children, youth, volunteers and other youth development professionals. During her tenure with UME Ms. Wells provided leadership to 4-H outreach and expansion and the 4-H Military Partnership Project, including support for Operation: Military Kids and 4-H club development on military installations in Maryland and Europe. Additional experience includes development of programs designed to strengthen communities through collaboration, needs and assets assessment, citizen empowerment, youth and adult leadership development, and program development. Ms. Wells has a B.S. degree in Recreation and an M.S. in Extension and Continuing Education, both from the University of Maryland College Park. She currently works part-time as the University of Maryland Extension 4-H Military Partnerships Project Assistant.
